About the role
As a Software Architect at Solvrex, you own the technical direction of our client engagements. You turn business goals into robust, scalable system designs, choose the right technologies, and guide our engineers through delivery — keeping quality high as we grow. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built real systems and wants the ownership that comes with an early-stage team.
Key responsibilities
- —Own end-to-end architecture for client projects — from system design to technology selection
- —Translate business and product requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
- —Set engineering standards and review designs, code, and architecture decisions
- —Guide and mentor engineers, raising the technical bar across the team
- —Partner with clients and the delivery team on technical strategy and trade-offs
- —Lead the build of complex features and integrations, staying hands-on where it matters
- —Evaluate and introduce modern tooling, including AI / GenAI, to improve delivery
Skills & requirements
- —6+ years building and shipping production software, including time in a senior or lead role
- —Strong system design and architecture skills across web and cloud applications
- —Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- —Depth in one or more modern stacks (e.g. TypeScript/Node, Python, or Java) and databases
- —A track record of mentoring engineers and owning technical decisions
- —Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Eligibility
- —6+ years of relevant professional software experience
- —A portfolio or references demonstrating systems you have designed and shipped
- —Available to start within 60 days
- —Based in India; remote-friendly with occasional travel as needed
